Super Get Info 1.3 Release Notes

This page documents all feature enhancements and bug fixes included in the Super Get Info 1.3 update.

Requirements

• This version of Super Get Info is a Universal application: it requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later, and runs natively on both Intel- and PowerPC-based Macs.

Additions & Changes

• Both Super Get Info and the Open With… contextual menu plug-in are now Universal applications.

• Super Get Info can now manipulate ownership and permissions for items residing on AppleShare (AFP) server volumes.

Fixes

• Made adjustments to the custom icon code to avoid a problem which prevented copying and pasting custom icons under Mac OS X 10.4 and later.

• System version checking is now reliable on unsupported OS versions. (ironic, no?)
